My name is Azaday Khan. I did MSc. in Chemistry in 1978 and started my own business “Azad Medicine Co.” in 1980. The core activity of the business is the provision of distribution services to pharmaceutical companies, and to sale and purchase of pharm and allied products in the open market in 1980, AMC had small and low-sized business partners. In the next decade, we had medium and large-sized business partners and from 2000 till now AMC has been a business partner of the world’s most popular and well-reputed multi-national pharmaceutical companies. Currently, AMC has established six branches in different autonomous regions.
AMC business has gradually grown due to which we have a versatile experience. We have established a good reputation in the market and have a strong competitive position among other competitors. We have highly qualified and experienced staff in place that are the drivers of our success. Our systems are the most updated and advanced as compared to competitors in the market. Our future strategy includes getting entrance into the new geographical area by establishing new setups and also constructing our own new building for head office which cover an area of 2 Kanal and will have a separate parking area and all the facilities that are necessary for today’s business.
I have been incurring a major part of my earnings for the welfare of society since the start of my business. I established a hospital that operated 100% on a charity base from the year 2000 to 2015 and now it operates in a welfare style. I also established seven (7) primary-level schools in remote areas under the area of 5km where there were no private and government schools available. I have funding for the operation of these schools from my personal earnings and I am the founder of them. Now I have transferred the control of some schools to certain NGOs who manage and operate them in our own style. despite these, I have been donating to many foundations that nurture and provide a better life, education, accommodation, food, and security for orphans.
